  • Gary T. Stoner Sr., age 76, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center with his family by his side. Gary was born April 17, 1948, in Lima, OH, to the late Ira Gale and Olive (Enders) Stoner. On December 23, 1972, he married the love of his life, Cecilia "CiCi" (Agnitsch) Stoner. Gary was a 1966 graduate of Bath High School and proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local #776 after many years of service. Gary was an avid reader and master welder. He was especially proud of his family and absolutely loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gary was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Cecilia "CiCi" A. Stoner of Spencerville; children, Christopher (Cara) Coulter of Poplar Grove, IL, Dominic (Marci Jo ) Stoner of Lima, Gary (Christina) Stoner, Jr. of Lima, and Mindy Lyn (Mike) Clark of Spencerville; grandchildren, Dylan (Brittany) Kitchings, Cristian (Kira) Stoner, Jonathan (Stephanie Perez) Coulter, Dawson Clark, Alyssa Stoner, Conner Clark, Danielle Stoner, Evan Stoner, Emily Coulter, Logan Clark, and Lillian Stoner; great-grandchildren, Allessa Kohorst, Wyatt Kitchings, Lillianna Raabe, Gideon Raabe, Miles Joseph, Poppy Jade Stoner, AJ Coulter, Camila Coulter; and a brother, Harold (Pat) Stoner of Lima. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Glenna (Leo) Etgen; and brothers, Gale Lee (Ethel) Stoner, and Larry (Myra) Stoner. Services celebrating Gary's life will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 703 W. Bluelick Road, Lima, OH 45801.   • Gerald L. Eagy Jr., age 74, was called into the presence of the Lord at 7:25 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at his home with the love of his family by his side. Gerald was born November 21, 1949, in Lima, OH, to the late Gerald and Evelyn (Hassan) Eagy Sr. On June 7, 1969, he married Sandra "Sandy" (Long) Eagy. Gerald was a 1968 graduate of Elida High School and was a retired plumber with Local Union #776. He also was owner/operator of Dependable Plumbing for many years. Gerald was a very active member of his church, Faith Baptist Church. He especially loved his wife, children, grandchildren, his church and serving the Lord. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra "Sandy" L. Eagy; two daughters, Shelly (Andrew) Archer, and Shannon Eagy of Lima; six grandchildren, Ethan (Hannah ) Rex, Sydney (Braden) Heitkamp, Micah (Jinney) Rex, Addyson Archer, Austin Archer, and Sarah Archer; his mother who raised him, Nancy Eagy; five brothers, Jim (Becky ) Eagy Bob (Lynette) Eagy, Dan (Hollie) Painter, Ron (Ronda) Painter, and Brad (Robin) Eagy; two Sisters, Diane Eagy, and Jola (Doug) Vandemark; and sister-in-law, Carolyn (Robert) Reichlederfer. He is also preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Rick Long, and Barry Long. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel. Pastor Tom Cooper will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, prior to the service at the funeral home.   • Herbert Miller was born July 17, 1960, in Clay County, Kentucky and departed this life Saturday November 16, 2024, at his residence being 64 years of age. He was the son of the late Roy and Leathie (Pennington) Miller. Herbert is survived by his wife Cheryl (Witt) Miller and by the following children: Thomas Miller of Ohio, Wes Bishop of London, Alexis Hacker and her husband Joe of McKee and Ashley Johnson and her husband Wes of London. He is also survived by the following siblings: Dennis Miller of Sand Gap, a very special brother, David Miller and wife Sandra of Tyner, Judy Witt and her husband Ronnie of McKee, Thelma Estes of Columbia, Kentucky and Betty Cottongin and her husband Walt of Alexandria, Kentucky. He was blessed with four grandchildren: Eli Johnson, Luke Johnson, Reece Hacker and his special little princess Jocia Hacker and a special niece Sharon Brown. Other than his parents Herbert was preceded in death by one brother Eddie Miller. Herbert was a member of the Seven Pines Pentecostal church and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Funeral service for Herbert 2:00 P.M. Tuesday November 19, 2024, at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro Quinton East officiating. Burial will follow in the Herbert Miller Cemetery at Tyner, Ky. Pallbearers include Thomas Shepherd, Wes Bishop, Joe Hacker, Wes Johnson, Clinton Miller, James Miller, John Morris, Jordan Burkhart, Monroe Brown, Eli Johnson and Reese Hacker. Honorary Pallbearers: Jerry Spurlock, Marty Coffey, Brian Miller, Darrell Hacker and Luke Johnson.
