Business Manager Comments
In April we will have a secret ballot vote for delegates to the OSA state convention and for appropriations of wages. I plan to circulate a letter to the jobsites explaining all the options for the vote. Please keep your eyes out for that letter and please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Also, I would like to congratulate the three apprentices that are representing Local 776 this year for the OSA state Apprenticeship Contest. Dylan Gonterman will be going as the welder, Nick Barrett will be going as the pipefitter and Ben Dues will be going as the HVAC Service Tech. These guys will compete at Local 189 at the end of April. All three are excellent craftsman and they will represent Local 776 very well. Bring home the gold!

The answer is always no, if you do not ask questions. We all do not know everything about fitting/welding, it is always changing, we must adapt to each individual situation daily. I always urge apprentices to ask questions when instructions are not clear, that mentality goes for Journeymen as well. Knowledge is power.
In solidarity.
Thanks, Chewy
